As the curtain rolls over the current year and the new beckons us on the horizon, new expectations arise in our hearts too.
To truly enter and properly live in the coming year, we must totally exit the old. No matter how good or seemingly unpleasant the present year has been, we must leave all of that behind and embrace all that the LORD has prepared for us in the coming year. As Jesus puts it, we can not put new wine in old wineskin.
