Blessed Beyond Measure

God’s prophetic word to you today is that you are blessed beyond measure, a message that some may find difficult to accept given the challenges and seemingly contradictory circumstances brought on by the economic downturn.  However, your circumstances do not define you; God’s word does. Every day, we face a crucial decision: who to trust—the voice of our circumstances or the voice of God?

The decision faced by the virgin Mary when visited by the angel Gabriel was one of great significance. Despite being a virgin, she was informed that she carried within her a remarkable seed that would ultimately bring about the most extraordinary blessing the world had ever seen. The angel called it a favor, even though it would be a contradiction for a virgin girl to bring forth a child.

God is an expert in reconciling contradictions. In Genesis chapter 26, when Isaac thought of leaving the apparently barren land to go to Egypt, God asked him not to make any move but to remain in the place that has been described by experts of this world as barren. That didn’t make sense, but Isaac knew enough that God’s report would always come true. As a result, he got a hundredfold blessing, which would be 100 times the best that would have been possible.

In Judges chapter 6, God sent an angel of peace to Gideon. The angel’s words to this feeble-looking and timid man hiding away to thresh wheat in a winepress for fear of the Midianites were, “thou mighty man of valor, the LORD is with you.” Gideon’s reaction was expected because he knew God was with him despite his problems.

The events that followed proved that God was right after all. With just 300 men, Gideon defeated the entire army of Midian that had terrorized Israel for 7 years—the same army that had sent Gideon into hiding. All three biblical examples shared the belief that God was with them. It really doesn’t matter what the issues are; you only need to be sure that God is at home.

Lift your head above your shoulders and rest assured that the great reconciler will resolve all issues surrounding you as you navigate the remaining days of this year. You are blessed beyond measure. This is the message from God to you, and you should place more trust in it than in your bank balance or the results of your medical examination.

Live each day hoping for a miracle and seeing things change in your favor. Expect all bills to be settled and all debts to be paid off. Be excited about the miracles and testimonies coming your way, because God has declared you blessed beyond measure. Make conscious and deliberate changes in your thought pattern, words, and actions in anticipation of the blessings coming your way.

As God’s servant, I lift up my voice to Heaven to declare that the word of God will work for you this season. I pray that your path will be filled with God’s blessings and goodness. I decree that everything that has caused you pain and sorrow be removed from your life. I sustain you with an abundance of bread, and I proclaim that milk and honey will be plentiful within your tent. I declare that the remaining days of this year will end better for you than they started. In the name of the LORD, I send you forth to go and conquer and overcome, in the name of the Father, of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.

Congratulations in advance. Walk tall like one blessed beyond measure. I await your testimonies.

God bless you.
